Abstract: We report on the use of an ultra-narrow (∼0.01 nm) spectrum-sliced incoherent light source for transmission of a 10-Gb/s non-return-to-zero signal over 20-km standard single mode fiber or 0.2-nm-bandwidth optical filter. © 2012 IEEE.
