dc.description.abstractWe present phase-modulated subcarrier-multiplexed transmission systems. These systems not only offer better robustness against inter-channel fiber nonlinearities when used for multi-channel transmission but also enable us to utilize larger modulation index than amplitude-modulated counterpart. © 2009 IEEE.
