Abstract: Based on Degree-of-Polarization measurement, we demonstrate an autocorrelation technique for optical short pulse with 0.01-ps resolution, which eliminates the requirements of high input power and rigid alignment. The impacts of chirp and misalignment are discussed. © 2009 IEEE.
