Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the electromagnetic scattering by a multilayer circular gyrotropic bianisotropic cylinder in free space. The coupled wave equations of longitudinal field components are derived, and the transversal fields components are obtained from the longitudinal ones. The eigenfunction expansion method is used to solve scattering problem after decoupling the coupled wave equations. Numerical results including RCS and near-zone fields are presented.
