dc.description.abstract | The scattering problems of general anisotropic 3-D objects are studied, using potential formulation and the parametric study. Both ε and μ̄ are considered and 4 parameters specify the material. The field components are expanded in terms of Hertz-Debye potentials, and both TE/TM (with respect to r̂) waves inside/outside the sphere can be derived in series of fractional-order (in real or complex number) Ricatti-Bessel functions. RCS dependence on both single and joint anisotropy are presented and RCS prediction scheme are constructed for absorbing spheres. © 2005 IEEE. | |
