Abstract: Direct magnetic patterning of non-magnetic Co/C thin films were studied. Electron beam lithography (EBL) was used. Results showed a ferromagnetic dot array with dot diameter of 450 nm and a spatial period of 1.5 μm. The formation of the ferromagnetic phase is also confirmed.
