|Abstract:||KC Tan from National University of Singapore, Singapore, has discussed the 2007 Congress on Evolutionary Computational (CEC) report that was held in Singapore on 25-28 September, 2007. Nearly 1115 paper were submitted from more than 70 countries, with several papers demonstrating useful systems with strong analytical and empirical analyses. Three plenary talks took place on each conference days by several invited keynote speakers some of which include Gary Fogel, Medical Applications of Evolutionary Computation, and Xin Yao, a Rigorous Theoretical Framework for Measuring Generalisation of Co-evolutionary Learning. Nine tutorials were organized as part of the pre-conference programs that covered the basics with modern discussion of emerging areas of research. Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan also organized the Multi-Objective Optimization contest, which was associated with a CEC 2007 special session of the same name, in the conference.|
