dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this paper are to propose a packaged integrated rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) configuration and demonstrate the potential advantages achieved by choosing a rectangular dielectric resonator geometry as compared to similar design using a cylindrical DR geometry [1]. Measurement and simulation results are both in good agreement. The antenna fabricated possesses wide impedance bandwidth (>20%) and a high radiation efficiency (>85%). © 2005 IEEE.
