|Abstract:||In this reply, we agree with the comments from Papp et al. that a symmetric (S) double barrier induces only a weak spin-polarization (P). But the main objective of us was to propose a practical arrangement to achieve a symmetric double barrier because P vanishes for any antisymmetric configuration. © 2004 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
