Patterned supported bilayers on self-assembled monolayers: Confinement of adjacent mobile bilayers. Langmuir 17 (25) : 7951-7954. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1021/la010776t | Abstract: | A study of confinement of lipid bilayers within a prespecified region by employing patterned self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) was carried out. The edge of the thiol support serves as a self-limiting boundary for the bilayer and enables deposition of dissimilar lipid layers on different thiol supports adjacent to each other. The results revealed that it is possible to reduce feature size without loss of discrimination. | Source Title: | Langmuir | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/66734 | ISSN: | 07437463 | DOI: | 10.1021/la010776t |
