Abstract: Dielectric inhomogeneties in multilayered medium are generally simulated by FEM or FDTD. However, since their solution domain is the whole space, they are not efficient for simulating small objects separated by large distance. In this article an MPIE-MoM formulation is proposed which incorporates equivalent volume currents for the simulation of dielectric inhomogeneties in multilayered medium.
