Dyadic Green's function (DGF), as an electromagnetic response of dielectric medium or the field contributed due to a delta source, is quite useful to solve electromagnetic boundary-value problems. DGFs for multilayered structures are of particular interest to many engineers and scientists because of its better accuracy in modelling practical problems. Cylindrically multilayered medium is one of the most common structures used in practice, and the DGF for such a medium was recently published by Xiang and Lu. However, it is found that there are some critical mistakes made and certain constraints assumed in the representation of the DGFs and their coefficients. The present paper serves as an amendment of [1] so as to avoid possible misleading of readers.
