dc.description.abstract | The electromagnetic radiation problem in the presence of three-dimensional arbitrarily shaped chiral bodies is studied. By means of the equivalence theorem and the T-matrix method, the electromagnetic radiated fields and the dyadic Green's functions both inside and outside of the chiral scatterer are derived in terms of spherical vector wave functions and matrix-formed coefficients. Examples of a dipole radiation in the presence of scatterers of prolate spheroidal and oblate spheroidal shapes are considered and numerical computations are made. | |
