Abstract: The propagation characteristics of transverse electric-waves in a ferrite slab are analyzed for different inclination angles θ of the dc magnetic field. With the presence of periodic corrugation, the Bragg reflection phenomenon is investigated by using the coupled-mode theory. The perturbed propagation constant is also determined for different θ. Results show the tunable property of the ferrite by varying the inclination angle of the dc magnetic field in the microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies.
