dc.description.abstract | We demonstrate the generation of an 160-GHz optical pulse train using a 40-GHz driven phase modulator followed by two stages of delayed interferometers. The simulation shows that the pulse width of the generated chirp-free 160-GHz carrier-suppressed return-to-zero optical pulse train is 3.13 ps. © 2007 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers. | |
