Abstract: The efficient evaluation of scattering cross section (SCS) of targets located above half space was investigated. The reciprocity theorem and the spatial dyadic Green's function (SDGF) obtained via discrete complex image method with generalised pencil of function was used for the investigation. The numerical results showed that the SDGF was accurate not only in the near and intermediate field region, but also the SCS in the far field.
