dc.description.abstract | The bandwidth enhancement for slotted waveguide spatial power combiners was presented. The simulated and measured results indicated that the use of multibranching in the design of a slotted-waveguide amplifier array improves bandwidth. The cause of the performance degradation was observed to be the phase deviation in the element excitations due to shifts in the standing wave patterns away from the slot centers. The results showed that the use of corporate feed network improved the bandwidth of linear slotted amplifier by upto 50%. | |
