Abstract: Meshless methods have attracted much attention in recent decades. A novel conformal meshless method based on radial basis function (RBF) coupled with coordinate transformation technique is proposed for arbitrary waveguide analysis. The proposed meshless method is a truly meshless integration-free method and it can overcome many drawbacks that are inherent in the traditional element-free Galerkin method. Our proposed method is validated by an equilateral triangular waveguide, elliptical waveguides, and truncated circular waveguides. Good agreements between the simulated and the published results have been obtained.
