The miscibility of carboxylated polysulphone with poly(ethyl oxazoline) (PEOx) was studied by differential scanning calorimetry. Polysulphone and carboxylated polysulphone with a degree of carboxylation of 0.43 are immiscible with PEOx. However, carboxylated polysulphone samples with degrees of carboxylation of 0.93, 1.38 and 1.93 are miscible with PEOx as shown by their optical clarity and glass transition behaviour.
