Title: | Portable Diffuse Optical Tomography System | Authors: | THET NAING KYAW | Keywords: | PCB, high speed digital, time domain simulation, PRBS, VCO, LFSR | Issue Date: | 30-Apr-2013 | Citation: | THET NAING KYAW (2013-04-30). Portable Diffuse Optical Tomography System. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This project is designing and fabrication of 2.488GHz Linear feedback shift register. The design will be used as a PRBS generator for a portable diffused optical tomography system. Due to its extreme low noise requirement operating at the very high operating frequency (GHz region), board level layout simulation has to be done before actual board fabrication. So a framework for designing and simulation is developed. LFSR design involves both analog and digital circuit design. The approaches to handle two different designs are different. In this project, step by step implementation of circuit simulation from component creation to layout level simulation is demonstrated. The challenges and pitfalls are highlighted. This framework and the experience can be leveraged in other similar high frequency circuit design. | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/49152 |
