Abstract: Algebraic geometry (AG) codes from the Hermitian curves and various parameters of one-point Hermitian codes were compared by choosing specific divisors. It was shown that the true minimal distance of one-point Hermitian codes is improved using CL(G, D) for some specific divisors G. The results showed that the true minimal distance of one-point Hermitian codes could be improved up to O(q2).
