A simple and effective solution to fulfill various goals in data privacy was discussed. The scheme is called zero-sum method which is a distortion based method. The method was started with an initial distortion in each cell and then the initial distorted data was adjusted so that all the marginal sums of each blocks were zeroes. It was observed that the privacy of original distortions is consistently better than those of adjusted distortion. However, it was also observed that the accuracy of adjusted distortions is consistently better than those of original distortion.
