汉语关系从句的功能及动因 = The Function and motivation of Chinese Relative Clause

Abstract

In this present thesis, we studied at Chinese relative clause, including its definition, types, grammaticalization and sentential functions in the perspective of functional linguistics, such as typology, grammaticalization, and cognitive linguistics. We also discovered the main sentential function trends of attributive and nominal relative clauses in Modern Chinese dialogue, which are controlled by a set of cognitive and communicational factors.
