dc.description.abstract | High-resolution chormatography techniques play the most important role in modern analytical chemistry. They are extensively used and applied in a wide range of fields. Yet, almost all samples need to be pretreated before they are injected into chromatograph. Hence, sample preparation is a crucial and critical part of a whole analytical procedure, which will directly affect the accuracy and precision of an analytical result. Traditional and novel sample preparation methods such as Soxhlet extraction, ultrasonic extraction, liquid liquid extraction, solid phase extraction, supercritical fluid extraction, microwave assisted extraction and solid-phase microextraction are stuided in detail. The history, advantages and disadvantages, future prospect and combination with other methods are fully discussed as well. 3 novel applications of supercritical fluid extraction, solid-phase microextraction and microwave-assisted extraction, in combination with high-resolution chromatography are reported. | |
