Abstract: In this paper, I address issues concerning the norms of practical reasoning. Gigerenzer raised objections that the norms of practical reasoning are inappropriately applied in a field of psychology popularly known as the Heuristics and Biases Program. I clarify his objections and offer why they are not convincing. Following this, I introduce a context-sensitive analysis of rationality to show that Gigerenzer's worldview is, after all, compatible with the Heuristics and Biases Program.
