dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes an integrative Knowledge Repository Systems (KRS) Success Model. Based on Masona??s (1978) information influence theory, we develop a more comprehensive framework for KRS success measurement by combining DeLone and McLeana??s (1992) IS Success Model with Markusa??s (2001) knowledge reusability concept. We suggest that KRS success should be measured at different stages of knowledge reuse as well as a series of influence on KRS users. Moreover these KRS success dimensions are interrelated. An empirical study was conducted among 110 KRS users in China and Singapore to validate our success model. Reported results provide preliminary support for our model and indicate the multidimensional and interdependent nature of KRS success as well as the uniqueness of KRS to other information systems. | |
