Abstract: This thesis studies the fast computational form of spatial domain Greena??s functions for cylindrically stratified media. Electric field spectral domain Greena??s functions are derived using 2 by 2 matrix and 4 by 4 matrix methods. The electric field Greena??s functions are rearranged and new recursive relations are summarized for the purpose of calculating large order cylindrical eigenmodes. The mixed potential Greena??s functions are then developed systematically for general cylindrically layered media. Series acceleration technique and discrete complex image method are used to perform the inverse Fourier transform of the spectral domain mixed potential Greena??s functions. Using the developed Greena??s functions, mixed potential integral equation is applied to analyze a helical antenna, a patch antenna and a microstrip line, with substrate and superstrate in all cases.
