Abstract: Production management has seen a great progress in the past decades, particularly in the areas of production control, quality control, and maintenance management. Researches on their integration have been pursued to improve production performance. This thesis has identified several important research gaps in this area and has developed the problem formulations and addressed these problems accordingly. The general formulation framework can be applied to problems with similar structures. In summary, it has extended the current researches on the integrations of: (i) production and maintenance,(ii) quality and maintenance, (iii) production, quality and maintenance. The results presented in this thesis show that these integrations help improve system performance while reducing operational costs. The integrated control models developed in this thesis are beneficial to manufacturing practitioners and can help them achieve financial growth in the long run.
