dc.description.abstract | Accession to the WTO is a cheering sign for the growing Chinese economy. It is expected that China will make its laws more compatible with the international standard after entering the WTO. One noticeable area is its foreign investment sector. It is possible that under the increasing pressure of trade and investment liberalization from the WTO framework as well as China's internal need of further market-oriented reform, the current legislative approach of "double track system" in its foreign investment legislation, which results in the differentiated treatment to domestic and foreign-investment businesses, will be abolished. The author analyses such a trend in the thesis and puts forward theories on the reconstruction of Chinese foreign investment law. | |
