Abstract: The research project is focused on the application of hollow fiber-protected microextraction in food and environmental analysis.LPME has been accomplished by extracting target compounds into small volumes of acceptor solution present inside the lumen of porous hollow fibers. The method of combining LPME with GC-MS to analyze pesticides in milk and chlorobenzens in soil was developed in the process. LPME coupled with GC was studied to analyze polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil. The results show that hollow-fiber protected microextraction has good selectivity, efficiency and sensitivity at analysis of pollutants in milk and soil.
