Abstract: This paper reports a real-world evaluation of a technique previously suggested for the identification of the source-origins of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). By measuring the PAH concentration to lead concentration ratios at a particular site over the course of a day, it was possible to relate these readings to the predominant source of atmospheric PAH pollution at certain periods of the day.
