ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A longitudinal study of depressive symptomatology in 200 postnatal women using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depressive Scale showed that depressive symptomatology is mild but present in nearly all the postpartum women; however only one per cent of the women over a 6-month period had scores suggestive of a postnatal depression.
