dc.description.abstract | Gel materials have recently gained more attention due to its unique capability of large and reversible volumetric changes. Various applications of gel materials have been developed, such as actuators in industry, artificial tissues in bioengineering, drug delivery in medicine, thin-film carrier in electronic devices and mimicking natural patterns in bionics. This study simulated the inhomogeneous behavior of hydrogel material via the inhomogeneous field gel theory. | |
