Abstract: In offshore oil and gas industry, multiphase pumping is one of the most essential technologies. Multiphase pumps currently available in the market all have limitations, especially in handling high gas content and slug flow condition. Great time and effort has been spent to explore alternatives for multiphase pump design from mechanism designed to handle pure gas. Wankel Rotary Engine, as an internal combustion engine provided the inspiration for the multiphase pump design in this thesis. In this thesis, a Wankel Rotary pump was designed and evaluated for single phase flow and low gas content multiphase flow
