|Abstract:||Urbanisation of the landscape may be added to the number of factors likely to lead to major disruptions to the existing conditions of river basins and diversion of river channels. The paper looks in detail at changes in flood frequency and size, decrease in lag time between rainfall and stream flow, and sedimentological and morphological changes.-J.Sheail|
