Abstract: Laminar non-Newtonian power-law fluid flow development in a pipe has been obtained by studying a hydrodynamically equivalent Newtonian analogue of the problem. Several integral solutions of the problem have been presented and their predictions have been compared with another similar solution. © 1993.
